Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed, Partial Sea View

After a long and demanding work week, I was looking forward to some much-needed rest and relaxation. I decided to book a stay at a hotel with spa services and came across The Rockaway Hotel. I was able to easily reserve a room on Saturday morning for that same evening without any hassle. Upon arrival, I was greeted by beautiful decor and friendly customer service, which immediately made me feel at ease. However, to my surprise, a large wedding was taking place on-site, occupying key amenities such as the dining area and pool. While the hotel itself looked great and the staff was attentive, I was unable to fully enjoy the experience I had hoped for, as the wedding party had reserved most of the space. Overall, while The Rockaway Hotel offered a lovely setting and excellent service, I was disappointed that the wedding event took over much of the hotel's amenities, limiting my ability to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer. It might be worth checking in advance to see if any large events are scheduled before booking, especially if you’re planning on using the spa or pool facilities.

An Exceptional Hotel Experience! A magnificent hotel with impeccable service! The staff is attentive, pays attention to every detail, and ensures everything is organized at the highest level. The room was perfectly prepared by housekeeping - spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The spa is outstanding, offering top-tier service and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The pool is warm, comfortable, and modern - an excellent place to unwind. The restaurant deserves special praise: exquisite dishes, incredible flavors, and first-class service. A special thanks to the hotel management for maintaining such a high standard of service and care. It truly feels as comfortable as home. A perfect place for an unforgettable stay!

Easily one of the best escapes from the city. Really the perfect mix of relaxed yet energetic vibes. The pool is a standout—beautiful clean lively and a great spot to lounge with a shark bite!! I’ve even worked from here in the summer, it’s perfect. We’ve also celebrated many birthdays at the hotel and it’s always a blast. The service and food is amazing. Both rooftops have great views, it’s our fav sunset drinks spot. The summer concert series is also next level. Can’t wait to see who’s performing this season- it feels exclusive and intimate in the best way. Convinced my family from Jersey to do a day here a few years ago and now they regularly come out just to enjoy the hotel LOL Really a must hit spot!

We love visiting the Rockaway Hotel! It has become a staple for us living in NJ and visiting friends in LI. We love being there at the pool with our young children too! Its perfectly family friendly, yet adults still feel they are getting a day out! Service is always so friendly, the staff and management are great! Rooms are perfect, the villas are great for an extended stay! New workout space is also a huge plus! Can't wait to head back!

The place is magical. The location is very convenient. The facilities are new and stylish. The ambiance is Nordic chic. There is a nice swimming pool for you to enjoy. If you there on Saturday morning you should treat yourself with yoga class taught by a great yoga instructor Niko. He is very thoughtful and professional.
